CHARACTER TENOR

“Zwischenfach” voice with fine characterization ability.

A product of German theater tradition. It is large with plenty of of metal and capable of clear declamation.

The Charaktertenor must have the acting ability of a Spieltenor and often the cutting power of the Heldentenor.

David Williams, baritone – 2nd place (senior)
