Journal for Sunday, August 3:

My body was still tired from the ongoing (non-stop) rehearsals from the previous days. My voice hasn’t fully recovered yet. Had an early breakfast, and hitched a ride with Erica (Strauss) to Lobero Theater. We did a tech rehearsal for Act I & II of Figaro. Later in the evening we had a Sitzprobe of Act II upto Act IV. I only sang when I am really needed to sing, because I am still trying to rest my voice for Monday night dress rehearsal. Prior to the Sitz, I had a 45-minute massage at Camille The Day Spa. It was worth it, because my whole back was just tight. To end the day/night, I saw “Before Night Falls”. It was a wonderful movie. It even had cameos of Johnny Depp and Sean Penn. That’s about it for now.
