MAW, Santa Barbara – Day Twenty1

Coachings/Rehearsals:
- 10am run-through for tonight’s Birnam-Wood program
- 1:30pm run-through of Thaïs

Reflections:
Went ‘swimming’ at the pool today. Took a 15 minute nap before getting ready for the Birnam-Wood “Concert in the Garden”. My voice didn’t feel as in shape tonight. There was a feeling of “sore-throatiness”, although it wasn’t really a sore throat. I might have pulled a “throat” muscle while singing Act II finale last night. It’s better now. The program for Birnam Wood was actually really good. I sang an aria (La Traviata) and a musical theater piece (My Fair Lady), as well as a duet (I Have Dreamed) and two ensemble pieces from Die Fledermaus.
